As we continue to grow, we are expanding our presence in Central Texas and are seeking an Architect with a minimum of 6 years of experience who is eager to contribute to and help grow our presence along the I-35 corridor.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and development of projects through all phases, ensuring alignment with client goals and firm standards.
  • Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large, complex projects.
  • Develop innovative, functional design solutions that meet safety, accessibility, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare presentations, drawings, and project documentation to communicate design intent to clients, consultants, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with consultants and oversee integration of all project disciplines to ensure technical accuracy and code compliance.
  • Oversee the production, quality, and technical accuracy of construction documents and design deliverables in a full BIM environment.
  • Exercise independent judgment in applying advanced architectural concepts, methods, and design solutions.
  • Develop and review project specifications, work plans, and resource allocations to ensure project deadlines and budgets are achieved.
  • Manage project schedules, staffing, and consultant coordination from marketing through construction administration.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, fostering strong relationships, presenting design concepts, and addressing client feedback.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams while providing technical guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Conduct design reviews and quality control checks to maintain high standards in functionality, safety, and performance.
  • Promote firm culture, professional engagement, and collaborative leadership among team members.

Required Skills

  • Accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
  • Licensed Architect required; LEED, WELL, or Living Building accreditation is encouraged.
  • 6+ years of professional architectural experience, including leadership responsibilities across all project phases.
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes, construction methods, engineering systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit required.
  • Strong design, technical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate consultants, and mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in design, management, technology, sustainability, business development, and marketing.
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of fostering leadership in others.
