Augustana College recently completed an extensive redesign of its sports complex, significantly enhancing its athletic and recreational offerings for both students and the surrounding community. The major renovation and construction project focused on the college’s football field, track facilities, and physical education building, addressing the growing need for modern, functional spaces to support the college’s athletics programs.

Among the key upgrades were the installation of a new artificial surface on the track and the addition of a new three-story stadium structure. This structure provides an additional 1,800 seats, offering greater capacity for spectators at games and events. In addition to seating, the renovation included state-of-the-art team meeting rooms, spacious locker rooms, athletic training facilities, and dedicated offices for the coaching staff. These improvements ensure that athletes and coaches have the resources they need to perform at their best, while also providing a top-tier environment for all sports-related activities.

The revamped facility also incorporates a conference room, reception areas, a press box, and high-end suites for entertaining, elevating the sports complex to a versatile venue capable of hosting a wide range of events.
