City of Dallas Fair Park Coliseum Renovations

The Fair Park Livestock Coliseum was built in 1955 and seats 3,500 spectators on each side of the arena floor. Every year, the Livestock Coliseum hosts rodeos, roller derbies, circus events, cheerleading competitions, youth wrestling, film shoots and other events.

The facility was in need of upgrades and renovations, and our firm was hired to improve TAS accessibility and to provide repairs and renovations to improve the function of the existing facility to meet current user and code requirements. Approximately 7,000 existing seats throughout the arena were replaced with new seats along with related modifications to egress paths.

In addition to roof repair, the unique folded arena ceiling was repaired and repainted, improving acoustics and a new A/V system was installed. Site drainage, lighting upgrades and electrical infrastructure were also addressed.
