City of Conway Events and Aquatics Center
The City of Conway partnered with Grace Design Studios and Crafton Tull to transform a former call center into a state-of-the-art events, recreation, and aquatic center. The renovated facility features a gym with 12 pickleball/badminton courts and 8 basketball/volleyball courts, a fitness center, youth and community lounges, a child watch room, an extra-wide elevated walking track, multipurpose and party rooms, office suites, and locker rooms.
The facility also emphasizes flexibility and community engagement, offering rentable event rooms, party spaces, and lounges that accommodate everything from small gatherings to larger functions. A game room, café/concessions, and dedicated social spaces further enhance its role as a civic hub, while its large-format gymnasium is designed to support tournaments and regional sporting events.

The center is anchored by a comprehensive aquatic program designed for both competition and leisure. The indoor natatorium includes an eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool with spectator seating, supporting lap swimming, instructional programs, and swim meets in a year-round environment. Complementing this is an indoor leisure pool and expansive outdoor aquatic area featuring a lazy river, water slides, a zero-entry pool, and interactive play features, creating a resort-style experience for families and visitors.
The facility also features dedicated gathering spaces, including:
- Community Lounges
- Event Rental Rooms - providing a versatile setting for social events, meetings, + celebrations
These spaces enhance the center’s role as a community hub, forming connections beyond sports and recreation.
At nearly 150,000 square feet, the adaptive reuse of the former corporate facility reflects a significant investment in Conway’s quality of life – bringing together fitness, recreation, aquatics, and community programming under one roof. The result is a multi-generational destination that supports daily wellness, competitive athletics, and social connection for residents and visitors alike.
