Florida Polytechnic University - Admissions Center

Both the Admissions Center and Wellness Center (Phase 1) were integral to providing resources to the inaugural class and faculty of Florida Polytechnic University. The Admissions Center at Florida Polytechnic University was the first new building outside of Santiago Calatrava’s contributions to be completed on the campus of Florida’s newest state university. A video wall, composed of sixteen (16) 55” LCD flat panel displays, allows visitors to learn more about the current and future growth plans for the only STEM-focused public university in the state. STA provided architectural design and construction drawings for this project in less than 30 days. Construction was completed in three months. The design team worked diligently to meet the university’s ambitious schedule. The facility opened in November, only 9 months before the first students arrived on campus for classes.

This pre-engineered building structure expedited design and construction times to meet the University’s scheduling needs before the first classes began for the academic year.
