Greater Baltimore Medical Center - Physicians Pavilion Owings Mills Family Care Expansion

The firm partnered with Greater Baltimore Medical Center to lead the renovation of the physician’s pavilion family care extension. The renovation consisted of expanding the existing family medicine practice to the adjacent suites on the southeast wing of the first floor. At the end of this multi-phased renovation, the entirety of the east wing was dedicated to the Family Medicine practice. Our team worked with GBMC’s multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and vendors, resulting in a design that was flexible for the needs of both the staff and the patient community.

The project included the addition of thirteen exam rooms, a walk-in clinic space, a phlebotomy laboratory, patient toilets, one new staff toilet, and various ancillary spaces. The final phase of the renovation included an upgrade of the grand lobby that rooted itself as a central location connecting all five levels with generous amounts of sunlight and openness.
