Kennedy Krieger Institute – Ashland Avenue Outpatient Facility

Grace partnered with the Kennedy Krieger Institute to program and design a new outpatient behavioral health facility located at the intersection of North Broadway and Ashland Avenue in Baltimore. The project included development of the facility's space program, building design, and interior environments to support a wide range of pediatric behavioral and mental health services.

Designed to promote healing, collaboration, and patient-centered care, the facility includes provider offices for individual consultation and observation, group therapy rooms, family counseling suites, and specialized treatment spaces tailored to the needs of children and adolescents. The building serves multiple outpatient behavioral health programs, bringing diverse services together in a modern, welcoming environment that supports patients, families, and caregivers.

A large conference and education center on the top floor provides space for staff training, professional development, and community engagement activities. Achieving LEED Silver certification, the facility reflects Kennedy Krieger's commitment to high-quality care, sustainability, and long-term community impact.
