In order to provide the 600,000 residents of Madinaty City all the conveniences and services necessary for day-to-day living, the master plan included commercial areas in proximity to each residential area as well as large retail districts to provide major services. The South Sector Retail Center is a 13,301.8 m2 commercial district, currently under construction, contains high-end boutiques, outdoor cafés, gift shops, restaurants, fast food kiosks, a Mosque, car services, recreational areas as well as additional governmental and medical services.
