The Norton Cancer Institute is a newly designed, free-standing cancer center developed to expand access to advanced cancer care throughout the Louisville Metro area. As a multidisciplinary practice, the facility supports a wide range of oncology services, allowing Norton Cancer Institute to continue its mission of providing comprehensive, patient-focused treatment in a single, centralized location. The building was thoughtfully planned to improve both the patient and provider experience through efficient circulation, accessible services, and a welcoming environment.

The facility includes 26 exam rooms, 36 infusion bays, a CT scanner, and a linear accelerator, enabling patients to receive diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care under one roof. Administrative offices are incorporated to support staff collaboration, while shell space is reserved for future expansion to accommodate evolving needs. The layout encourages seamless coordination between providers and departments, helping to reduce patient stress and support timely, integrated care.

Enhancing the healing experience, a garden featuring a central labyrinth offers patients and families a place for quiet reflection and meditation. This outdoor space was designed to promote emotional wellness and serve as a peaceful retreat, complementing the medical services within. The garden reflects this facility's commitment to holistic care, addressing both the physical and emotional needs of those navigating cancer treatment.
