PizzeRizzo represents a comprehensive reimagining of an existing dining venue, infusing it with an entirely new storyline, immersive theming, and enhanced functionality to elevate the guest experience. The design seamlessly blends classic New York-style pizzeria aesthetics with playful Muppet-inspired details, creating an engaging, family-friendly atmosphere. The exterior was re-skinned with brick and painted signage, evoking an authentic urban streetscape, while the interior was fully reconfigured to reflect the charm and humor of Rizzo the Rat’s signature establishment.

A major component of the renovation was expanding guest capacity from 525 to 850 diners, achieved through a strategic second-floor expansion and the addition of a covered outdoor seating area. The second level now offers an open, loft-style dining space with large windows, providing a lively yet comfortable setting for guests. Sightlines, lighting, and décor were carefully curated to maintain the immersive storytelling, ensuring that every detail contributes to the rich thematic experience.

Behind the scenes, the project included a new kitchen layout and state-of-the-art equipment package, optimizing both efficiency and service. Restroom facilities were upgraded and reconfigured to meet modern accessibility standards, enhancing overall guest convenience.
