The modernization and expansion of St. Helena Parish Hospital transforms the existing facility through 53,000 SF of carefully phased renovations and additions that elevate patient care and operational efficiency. The improved hospital will feature a new 16-bed acute care unit, a dedicated emergency department with its own entrance and parking, upgraded imaging diagnostics, and a consolidated administrative suite. Comprehensive renovations throughout the facility bring the hospital into compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act, Facility Guidelines Institute, and current building code requirements, while targeted cosmetic improvements create refreshed, welcoming environments for patients and staff. Additional infrastructure enhancements include replacing the hospital’s outdated HVAC system with a high performance system that meets current energy efficiency and infection control standards.
