The Ben & Catherine Ivy Foundation funds brain tumor research, mainly glioblastoma, one of the most complex and deadliest cancers. Housed inside of The Barrow Neurological Institute’s St. Joseph’s campus, IBTC needed a more prominent entrance to match its prestige. The new entrance not only is designed to communicate the brand and identity of the wing but also shows the work that is being done. The design team worked with 3form to create the blue and green branded walls and used a large media wall to inform the public about the great work that’s being done at the Ivy Brain Tumor Center. All new finishes were redone throughout to maximize the impact of such a small space.
