FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital Women & Children’s Center
FirstHealth of the Carolinas engaged the firm and Brasfield & Gorrie General Contractors to design and construct a specialty women’s and children’s hospital expansion in Pinehurst, NC.
The Women’s and Children’s Center will specialize in maternal medicine and beginning of life care for infants. The Center will also provide continuing care services for women and children to improve the lives of community members for years to come. The space is imagined through carefully researched space planning and features advanced technologies, which together create a comprehensive approach to care in this state-of-the-art facility.
The Center is a 100,000 SF, two-story facility with Assessment, Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, Surgical Services, and Administration on the first level. The second level includes Postpartum care, Pediatric services, the NICU, and a nursery. A lower level includes additional staff and support space for the new Center and existing hospital.
