St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus, 5th Floor Buildout
This project entails the conversion of a 31,725 square foot area on the tower's fifth floor into a state-of-the-art 36-bed Patient Care Unit complemented by a Conference Room space, with an estimated investment of $15M. The renovation will repurpose the existing MedSurg shell space to accommodate this unit, designed to adhere to the standards required for an Intermediate Care Unit in the future.
Presently in progress, a key aspect of this endeavor involves integrating Dignity Health's corporate standard signage and wayfinding into the construction. Notably, all elevator lobbies across floors one through five must align with the specific branding guidelines set forth by Dignity Health. Navigating through a triangular unit presents unique challenges in wayfinding, as conventional corridors facilitating easy navigation are absent. Ensuring seamless movement to the correct patient rooms is paramount to minimizing disruptions at the nurse station.
